Recovery

The first few days after Presleigh's surgery went pretty well. She played quite a bit and we thought that her recovery was going to be super speedy. Then she seemed to get worse. Waking up crying. Laying around, watching Dora all day. It's been a week now and I am starting to see some improvement. Maybe she is feeling better because I am forcing her pain meds on her. She hates taking her medication:(

She has mostly eaten popsicles, yogurt, and pudding. She's has eaten a little normal food, but she usually just takes a couple bites and then she's done.

My parents left town on Sunday, but it was so nice to have them here those first few days after Pres' surgery. They helped out so much and it was just nice to be able to spend some time with both of them.

Wayne rigged this hoop so that it would hang on the wall. The kids love it. Noah spends most of his day shooting hoops.

We had recommend interviews before church on Sunday so we decided that we would stay for sacrament meeting and see how Pres was feeling. She fell asleep halfway through so we got to stay for most of our meetings. When she woke up during Relief Society she was not happy and kind of out of it, so we had to leave early. These are pictures of the kids before church.

I have to say that Noah is missing playing with his sister. Presleigh doesn't want anything to do with him due to some injuries that she has received from him. Whenever Pres is awake Noah wants to be right next to her, which upsets Presleigh. She has been hit by a sippy cup and jumped on a few times by her little brother the last couple days. Noah doesn't understand and trys to get her attention and just wants to play. This morning Presleigh slept in, but Noah kept asking for her and going to the door and saying "sissy." He will be so happy when Presleigh is back to her normal self.
