My birthday present fiasco

K, so Wayne got me this beautiful bike for my birthday. He ordered it offline a few days before my big day. I was so excited when I went behind his back and looked through his e-mail to find that this was what he had picked out for me (I had told him that I wanted a bike). So a couple days after my birthday the company he ordered it from told us that they didn't have it. Total bummer.
So we looked online some more for the same bike. We found it at a different store at a discounted price so we were extra excited. They sent the bike and we were able to track it, so I knew exactly when it was going to arrive, and I waited at the house all day for it. It took 2 weeks but it finally got here. I looked at the box it came in and it showed a picture of the exact same bike only it was in the men's version, so I was kind of confused. But whatever, the receipt showed that it was the women's model so I went about my business. We when it was finally time to open it up, I was completely disappointed to see that they had sent us the wrong bike. Can you believe it??? How annoying!!!!!!!! I was thinking that maybe they would let us keep the one they sent, for Wayne and then let us order the one for me at a discounted price, but they said they would have fedex come pick up the men's bike and they would send out the pretty blue one for me the next day. We didn't hear from them for a couple days and I was a little worried but then last night we received an e-mail from the company explaining that they don't have the women's model. How annoying!!!!!!! So we've been desprately trying to find the same bike online somewhere and haven't had any luck.
Isn't the whole ordeal so rediculous. I think I need to pick out a different bike, but it's really the only one I want:(

Playing catch up!!

We've had an eventful couple of weeks, and i'm just now getting around to posting about it all.

First, we went to Utah at the end of April to celebrate my mother's big 60th birthday. It was kind of stressful trying to make it all happen since Wayne was in the middle of a deadline for an audit, but we made it it all worked out. Wayne spent the weekend at his parents and I took the kiddos and met my family in Park City for a girls weekend. It was so nice to be able to see my family. Presleigh was loving her Makka (grandma) and her aunties. We had a great time!!

We got back just in time for my 25th birthday! It was such a nice day. Wayne brought home my favorite pizza and 25 balloons and then we went out and bought some P90X, more on that to come. We also went to a yummy yogurt shop. That following Friday my friends surprised me with a little birthday party. We went to dinner at my favorite place and then went to a kareoke place. One of the funnest places ever! We sang our hearts out for about 3 hours:)

So here are the last couple weeks in pictures.

This was Mother's Day before church.

Homemade baby food

I decided to start making Noah's baby food. So tuesday night I went out and bought a bunch of fruits and veggies and then yesterday I started making it all. It was actually way easier then I expected and even made me wish I would have done it for Presleigh too. We're going nat-ur-al these days. Next will be cloth diapers, if I can convince my hubby. Here's a pic of my hard work.

Noah is pulling himself up on things. He's so cute, standing wherever he can. I found him like this the other day pretty much stuck standing at the coffee table but still loving that he can stand up. He gets so proud of himself when he does it and can usually stand on his own for a few seconds.

Y's Baby Shower!!!

So (J) and I had a baby shower for our friend (Y) this weekend. It turned out super cute and we had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures!

We had a little craft time where we embellished onsies and bibs for baby (E). They are adorable.

It was so beautiful out on Saturday, it was perfect for our outdoor setup.

ALRIGHT...My kids are sick

Presleigh's new favorite word to use is "Alright." I know it seems like not a very fun word but I love it. Everytime she says it I can't help but smile. Maybe it's because it's her commitment to obey and listen to mommy, or maybe it's the adorable way that she says it, I'm not really sure. Last night it was no different. I tried desperately to hold back my smile as I listened to Wayne explain to Presleigh that we do not play with mommy's nail polish. She said "alright" as she twirled in circles in the front room. And I couldn't help but smile and giggle a little after she had tried painting her nails but really accomplished painting her hands and the bathroom and master bedroom floors.

Noah has had a brutal cough the last couple weeks. He has also gotten 2 new teeth, so you can imagine how pleasant he has been. Presleigh told us on Easter that ear hurt and that she needed to see a doctor. We thought about taking her in, but I decided to wait til the next day to see if she kept complaining. She seemed fine the next day so we just went about our business. Yesterday I finally decided that I would take Noah to see the doctor because he just wasn't getting better and almost seemed more fussy and irritable. I thought that he might have an ear infection and I still wanted to get Presleigh's checked out. Our doctor is awesome and got us in yesterday.

We learned that Noah has RSV and a double ear infection and Presleigh has an ear infection as well. While I was at target filling their meds I found some pretty red nail polish and the whole time we were in the store Presleigh was asking to get her nails painted. I kept telling her that I would do it when we got home and she patiently kept saying "alright." So I feel sort of responsible for Presleigh's nail polish mess last night because I didn't paint her nails when we got home. I guess she decided that she had waited long enough. We got the polish off the tile floor but not the carpet. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get nail polish out of carpet? I'll post a picture in a little bit.

Lots of pictures!!!!!

Here are some pictures from our recent adventures. Going on walks, playing at the park, and our neighborhood Easter egg hunt.
I think Presleigh looks ill in this picture. The lighting is not the best, but wanted to show you (MOM) the hat!

Presleigh loves princesses but for some reason wasn't a big fan of this Cinderella. Maybe she was scared of her nose Piercing:)

Dying Easter Eggs!!!!!!!!!

Presleigh is officially potty trained! I had to celebrate with this (only one kid in diapers) bag.
