I went to Target again to get Presleigh's pictures taken, and I had an awful experience. I don't want to go back for her 1 year pics so I need a new photographer. I need someone who will take her picture and then also family pics. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know. Anyway... here are some pictures

The tutu and the spider

Isn't this tutu so adorable? The three of us were in front of the tv watching the presidential debate, and i decided to make this cute tutu. Wayne was keeping Presleigh away from my project and everything was going good until i saw this massive spider about to attack my baby. It was so fast it freaked me out. So I grabbed Presleigh and grabbed one of her toys and smashed the spider. Then i put Pres down and went back to working on my tutu thinking that my macho husband would dispose of the spider. So Presleigh went back to playing and Wayne continued watching the debate. (Note: my husband is obsessed with politics these days. Talk radio is on all day long and at night we watch fox news.) So i finish the tutu and move to the couch to admire my work when i see Presleigh come towards me from where the spider had been killed. I look around the room to spot where the spider was and it's gone. Gone, can you believe it, you would think that maybe my sweet husband decided to throw it in the garbage or in the toilet or something but no that's not what happen. My sweet baby girl had picked the spider up and ate the whole thing. I could tell that it was no longer in her mouth, she had swallowed it all. I was beside myself. I couldn't even move. I didn't know what to do, there was really nothing i could do, the spider was gone. Presleigh decided to dispose of it. I hurried and called poison control because i wasn't sure if it is safe to eat big ol brown spiders, but they said she'd be fine, thank goodness. This tutu will always remind me of the night my sweet girl ate her first spider!!

Update

Well not a lot of news to report on for this Taylor family. Last weekend My family came down for conference weekend. It was so good to see everyone and get to spend so much time with them all. We had tickets to Sunday morning conference and it was nice to be able to go to the conference center to listen. I am always able to feel the spirit so much stronger when I go there.

My mother brought me her old sewing machine so i've started working on my first quilt. I've never really sewn before so it's going to be an interesting project. I'm making the quilt out of all my old t-shirts so i'm not too picky, and it shouldn't be too difficult.

I've also started babysitting this cute little one year old Kali. She is so cute and Presleigh has so much fun playing with her. It's quite a challenge having two little girls all day that are only about 3 months apart. I feel like i finally have a little bit of an understanding of what it's like to have twins. I'm glad though that Presleigh finally has someone to play with. I have to keep a close eye on her though because she loves to climb up on Kali and she's always trying to pull out her earrings. They are so adorable.

Car Seat

So we're in the market for a new car seat and i'm having a hard time deciding which kind to get. Presleigh is about to graduate from the infant carrier and i want to know where people have found their car seats and what brand to get. We need it to be inexpensive but safe. If you have any info on different seats, please let me know. Thanks.

New Hair

Ok so here is the new hair cut. Today wasn't the best hair day so it's a little messy but since some of you are super eager to see it, here ya go. Here are a few pics of Presleigh standing too. She trys to walk along furniture but usually falls.

I just thought i would post some pics of Presleigh from the month of August. We've had a eventful month. We're all moved in to our home in Ogden. Wayne started school last monday and has been spending his off days studying for the CPA exam. We took a family trip to Bosie, ID for labor day and had a blast. We got to spend time with my sister Kim and her family and also my cousin Rhonda and her family. It was nice to get away for a weekend.
Presleigh has started pulling herself up onto things and falls all the time. She's started doing this weird growl thing like she's a dog and it's so stinkin cute.
