The other day presleigh skipped her nap and after a long day of playing with friends she crashed while reading her Nemo book.
Here's a picture of my beautiful new quilt that my mother nade for me I love it! I need to do a few more thhings and then my bedroom will be finished.
I love this kid!

As you can probably see, it's been really really nice out here. We've been spending a lot of time outside. Presleigh can't get enough of it!

2 yr and 6 month check up + catch up

I took the kiddos to the Doc last week for their well child exams. I thought it would be a good thing to have both of the kids get their shots on the same day, which it probably was, but trying to console two crying babies by myself was not fun. But both the kids were declared healthy so I am definitely grateful for that.

Presleigh weighed in at 25lbs 12oz and is 33 inches tall. She is in the 25th percentile for height and weight and like 10th percent for her head.

Noah weighed in at 18lbs 10oz and is 27 inches tall. He is in the 75th percentile for height and weight and 25th percent for his head.

I was totally impressed with our nurse practitioner (whom I usually don't really like) and some of the questions she asked me. One of them was "How much TV does Presleigh watch?" I know I might be lame but I guess I just didn't think that this would be a question, but I'm so glad that doctors are concerned about the amount of TV children are watching these days. I started struggling with the whole TV thing a while ago with Presleigh when I noticed she wanted it on even when she was playing and not watching it. I guess she likes the background noise, which tends to give me a headache. anyway... I felt a little bit better about the battles that Presleigh and I have been having over leaving the TV off, when our nurse asked how much TV she watches, and I was able to say that we've been limiting it to 1 hour a day.

Still going private...

Yes, I am still planning on switching our blog to private, I just haven't gotten around to figuring out how to do it. It will happen though sometime this week hopefully.

Little Guy Tie

I've had lots of people ask me about the ties that I made for Noah. The pattern is off of etsy.com I tried to copy the link here but for some reason it isn't working. So if you want to buy the pattern and make some cute little boy ties, go to etsy.com and then search "little guy ties" you should be able to find the pattern from there.

First Day Of My Life

Three years we've been married. It seems like we've been together so much longer. Maybe it's because we have moved 5 times to 4 different cities, started a business, quit a business, finished a Master's Degree, been pregnant 3 times, have two babies, and have learned so much about eachother through all of it. I am so excited that I get to spend forever with this hunk!! Happy anniversary babe. I love you!

I love my life!

That's what i've been thinking these days. I am so blessed and so happy and i'm absolutely loving life. I am so grateful for all that I have, expecially for my testimony of the truth. The gospel is amazing and brings such unity and happiness into our home. I feel so much peace knowing that my family can be together forever. And I live my life everyday trying to make sure that that happens.

On a lighter note... This morning we played dress up!

My quilt is completely pieced together and I am now waiting for someone else to come finish the rest for me.

On Friday I took the kids out and about to get some things for this past week. We live 30 min from costco, so I have to plan my trips to town. Anyway, I decided that I wasn't gonna make dinner so we stopped and got some chicken nuggets. Just like her mother, Presleigh loves to dip her food. As soon as she saw that I was dipping my chicken in ranch, she decided she needed ranch too. I positioned her nuggets in between her legs so she could use one hand for chicken and the other hand for dipping (we were in the car). About halfway home while talking to my mother on the phone I hear a "All done" coming from my sweet little Presleigh.
I didn't pay much attention to her until she wouldn't stop telling me that she was done, so I turned around (while at a stop light) and this nasty ranch mess is what I found. She gets her dipping from me, but i'm pretty sure i've never poured ranch dressing all over my head. Maybe she got that from her father. Noah is not mobile yet (thank goodness) but he tends to be able to find Presleigh's sippy cups lying around all the time. He loves to chew on them, and he can actually get water out of her straw ones.
